Welcome to the Warren Public Library

News from the Library

February 6 is Take Your Child to the Library Day and will be celebrated all over the state.

We invite you on that day to a fun Mad Hatter's Tea Party, at the library,  from 1 to 2 pm. We will have all the trimmings of a fun tea party: cakes, cookies, tea of course and a few fun surprises. Bring your child(daughter, son, grandchild, niece, nephew, friend) in early to see what we have in our children's room. Wear a mad hat! We will be there with hats on…and don't be late for a very important date.

We have some future events coming up for the Spring. In March we are pleased to present the Warren School art Show. From March 19th through the end of April our library will be complemented with the artwork of the Warren School Students; this year with a Mexican/Spanish theme.

April will bring the popular wine tasting at Hopkins Vineyard. This is a good chance to get together and enjoy a glass of wine and visit with folks from the community and our library community.

More details on these events to follow.

Other big news for the library is that we are expanding! The Warren Public Library has gained some new space in the building. We are taking over the room that the Council of Governments (COG) occupied for many years. After some refreshing changes to the room – new carpet, paint, curtains, adding a projector and a screen – we will have a meeting and viewing space available. Please watch for events to be held in this spacious area.
